Goat kidding date calculator
Goats carry for about 150 days. Nigerian Dwarf and Pygmy does often kid a few days early; larger dairy and meat breeds land close to day 150.
When is my goat due?
A doe bred today (October 5, 2026) is due around March 4, 2027, between February 27 and March 9, 2027.
| Bred | October 5, 2026 |
|---|---|
| Due date | March 4, 2027 (day 150) |
| Normal window | February 27, 2027 to March 9, 2027 (days 145 to 155) |
| Days until kidding | in 150 days |
| Days pregnant today | 0 |
How it is calculated
- Start from the breeding date. Use the date the doe was bred. If the doe was bred more than once, use the last date.
- Add 150 days. The average doe carries for about 150 days, so the due date is 150 days after breeding.
- Mark the normal window. Most kidding happens between day 145 and day 155, so watch from day 145 and call your vet if nothing has happened by day 155.
