The detail
One of the Belgian shepherd varieties, bred to herd and guard flocks, the Tervuren has a long fawn-to-mahogany coat with a black overlay. Intelligent, watchful and devoted, it excels in obedience and herding and needs an active, engaged owner.

What to weigh
