The detail
An ancient all-white breed from Thailand, often with odd or blue eyes, prized there for centuries as a lucky cat. Khao Manees are active, social and talkative, and their coloring brings a real risk of deafness.

What to weigh
White cats with blue or odd eyes can be deaf in one or both ears. The breed is rare outside Thailand, so choice is limited and waits are long.
