Buyer question
How long does an Albino live?
Our Animal Library gives the Albino a lifespan of 6–10 years.

The detail
The albino ferret has a white to cream coat, pink nose and red eyes, from a recessive gene that removes pigment. Its eyesight is weaker than a pigmented ferret's, so an owner should keep the home layout steady and avoid bright light.
- Origin
- Domesticated European polecat
- Best fit
- Experienced, home-a-lot owners
- Care load
- 4 out of 5 (Hours of daily play time)
What to weigh
Poorer vision and light sensitivity, and the coat yellows with skin oils. Otherwise it is an ordinary ferret, with the same time and vet needs.
