Bred in England to bolt foxes from their dens during hunts, the Wire Fox Terrier is a lively, confident terrier with a keen eye and a wiry coat. Playful, bold and alert, it needs daily exercise, secure fencing and a patient trainer.
What to weigh
Wire Foxes dig, bark and chase anything small, and some quarrel with other dogs. The wiry coat needs stripping or clipping to stay tidy.
