What health problems do Wire Fox Terriers have, and what should be tested?
A generally healthy breed. Lens luxation, cataracts, luxating kneecaps and heart disease occur. Ask for a recent eye exam, a patella check and a PLL DNA result on both parents.
Are Wire Fox Terriers good with other pets?
Cats raised with them may be accepted, but small pets like rodents are at risk. Some Wire Foxes spar with other dogs, especially of the same sex.
