The detail
The White Crested, or American Crested, is a smooth, short-haired guinea pig with a single white rosette on the forehead set against a coat of another color. It has the easy care of an American with one striking mark.
- Housing
- 7.5+ sq ft for a pair
What to weigh
A clean white crest with no other white on the body is hard to breed, so most pets fall short of show standard. Care is the same as any short-haired guinea pig.
