The detail
Tanimbar blue-tongue skinks come from the Tanimbar Islands of Indonesia and are a smaller blue-tongue, often silvery gray with dark bands and orange on the sides. They are less common than northerns and many have been imported.
- Housing
- 4×2×2 ft, UVB, higher humidity
What to weigh
Tanimbars need humidity as well as UVB and heat, and captive-bred animals can be hard to find. Imports may carry parasites and need time to settle.
