The detail
A pinto-colored gaited horse developed in Tennessee from Tennessee Walkers, Missouri Fox Trotters and ponies of Spanish descent. Spotted Saddle Horses are smooth, calm and popular for trail riding.
What to weigh
Keeping the gait smooth takes a rider and farrier who know gaited horses. White areas sunburn, and show horses may have been exposed to soring.
