The detail

Mulefoots are an American heritage breed named for their solid, uncloven hooves. They are black, calm and good foragers, raised on pasture for richly marbled pork, and are among the rarest pig breeds in the US.

What to weigh

Mulefoots grow slowly and are rare, so breeding stock is limited. They do best on pasture with good fencing and shelter.
