An old German ratting breed, not a small Doberman, the Min Pin is a confident, energetic toy dog known for its high-stepping gait. Fearless, curious and quick, it needs firm training, secure fencing and supervision around small pets.
What to weigh
Min Pins are escape artists that slip through gaps and chase small animals. They can be barky and snappy with rough children, and housetraining takes patience.
