What health problems do Min Pins have, and what should be tested?
Luxating kneecaps, Legg-Calve-Perthes disease, eye disease, hypothyroidism and MPS VI occur. Ask for a patella check, a Legg-Perthes clearance, a recent eye exam and an MPS VI DNA result on both parents.
Is a Min Pin related to the Doberman?
Not directly. The Min Pin is the older breed, a German ratter. The resemblance is superficial.
