The detail
Developed in the US from small Australian Shepherds, the Miniature American Shepherd is a compact herding dog with the same drive and brains as its larger cousin. Loyal, energetic and trainable, it needs daily exercise and a job to do.
What to weigh
Mini Americans are busy dogs that herd children and pets and get restless without work. They shed heavily and are often reserved with strangers.
