The detail
An Italian water retriever turned truffle hunter, the Lagotto uses its nose to find truffles underground and still loves to dig. Affectionate, alert and easy to train, it has a dense curly coat that sheds little but mats without regular care.
What to weigh
Lagotti dig with determination and need daily exercise and scent games. The curly coat mats and cords if neglected and needs regular clipping.
