The detail
An old Thai breed with a silver-tipped blue coat, green eyes and a heart-shaped face, traditionally given as a good-luck gift. Korats are quiet, devoted and playful, and they bond closely with their family.
What to weigh
Korats dislike loud, chaotic homes and can be possessive of their people. The breed carries two inherited, fatal storage diseases that DNA tests can rule out.
