The detail
Jackson's chameleon is an East African highland species; males carry three horns and females bear live young instead of laying eggs. It likes cooler, more humid conditions than a veiled or panther, and overheating is the common mistake.
- Housing
- Screen enclosure about 2×2×4 ft, cool and humid
What to weigh
Summer heat can be the hardest part, since this species struggles when the room gets warm. Pregnant females need a quiet setup and a plan for the babies.
