The detail
The Burmese as bred in Britain and Europe: moderate in head and body and allowed in reds, creams and torties. European Burmese are bold, people-focused and playful for life, and dislike long days alone.
What to weigh
A European Burmese needs company for most of the day. The breed has higher rates of diabetes and carries inherited hypokalaemia and a facial pain syndrome.
