The detail
A robust, blue-grey cat from France with copper to orange eyes and a woolly, water-repellent coat. Chartreux are quiet, observant and loyal, often attaching to one person, and they rarely use their voice.
What to weigh
A Chartreux sheds heavily each spring and matures slowly, often taking three to five years. It is rarer outside France, so expect a wait.
