The detail
A shaded silver shorthair born from an accidental mating between a Chinchilla Persian and a Burmese in Britain in 1981. Burmillas are gentle, playful and affectionate, with a softer temperament than a Burmese.
What to weigh
Burmillas like company and dislike long days alone. Persian ancestry brings a polycystic kidney disease risk that testing can rule out.
