The detail
Black beauty is a darker sugar glider with heavy, dark markings and a deep gray to near-black coat, built up by selective breeding rather than one simple gene. It is the same animal as a standard gray, with the same diet, companion and nighttime needs.
- Housing
- Tall cage, 1/2 in bars, pouches
What to weigh
Depth of color varies and can change as a joey matures, so the look you pay attention to is not guaranteed. Care, noise and the 10-to-15-year commitment are the same as any glider.
