How big do Santa Gertrudis cattle get?

The detail

Santa Gertrudis were developed on the King Ranch in Texas from Shorthorn and Brahman, and in 1940 became the first beef breed recognized as developed in the US. They are deep red, heat tolerant and grow well on grass.

What to weigh

Like other Brahman-influenced breeds they mature a little later and prefer warm climates. Loose skin and sheaths on bulls need checking.
