The detail
Naked Necks, sometimes called Turkens, come from Transylvania and have a bare neck from a single gene. They are hardy, heat tolerant and good dual-purpose birds, and easier to pluck than most.
What to weigh
Bare necks can sunburn and need shelter in cold weather. Their look is not for everyone.
