Common questions

What health tests should the parents have?

Ask for a DNA result for pyruvate kinase deficiency on both parents, which occurs in the breed, plus a full vet exam of the kitten. Ask how the breeder manages inbreeding in such a small population.

Is a Singapura good with children?

Yes, with gentle children. They are playful and social but small, so they should not be handled roughly.

Can a Singapura live in an apartment?

Yes. They are small and quiet. Give them vertical space and daily play, as they are curious and active.
