Gerbil · 0 live listings
Siamese gerbils have a pale cream to beige body with darker points on the nose, ears, feet and tail. The points often darken with age and cool temperatures, but it is a color only, so care matches any gerbil, pair and deep bedding included.

The tradeoffs, honestly
Pointed colors take months to develop, so a baby may look very different as an adult. Care matches any gerbil.
Common questions
Will the points get darker?
Usually. Points develop over the first months and tend to deepen with age and in a cooler room. Parent photos show the likely adult look.
What health checks should a gerbil have?
Ask whether the line has a history of seizures: many gerbils have stress-triggered epilepsy, and some lines are more prone. Check the tail is whole (never lift a gerbil by it, as the skin can slip off), and ask for vet-confirmed sex and a litter record.
Are gerbils legal everywhere?
No. Gerbils are prohibited in California and Hawaii because escaped animals could establish wild populations. Rules vary, so check state and city law before you buy.
Ask the seller for these. Documents on Everybarn are on file for your own checks; we don't check them with the issuer.
