Red Ino
Sugar Glider · 0 live listings
Red ino is a recessive sugar glider color with a warm reddish-tan to cinnamon coat and red eyes. Like creme ino, its eyes are more sensitive to bright light, so it needs dim lighting on top of the same diet, companion and nighttime care as any glider.

The tradeoffs, honestly
Red-eyed gliders need a dim room and may see less well. The color can vary in depth, and as a recessive trait it needs carrier planning for breeding.
Common questions
Is red ino the same as creme ino?
No. Both are red-eyed ino colors, but red ino has a warmer, redder coat. Care is the same for both: dim light, covered pouches and standard glider diet and companionship.
What health checks should a sugar glider have?
Ask for an exotics vet exam, a clear fecal and vet-confirmed sex, plus the joey's out-of-pouch date and the exact diet it eats. Poor diets cause metabolic bone disease, so line up an exotics vet first, and plan on two: a glider kept alone is prone to stress and self-harm.
Can I legally keep a sugar glider where I live?
Check state and city law first, because rules vary. Sugar gliders are prohibited in California, Hawaii and Alaska and in New York City, and Florida and Pennsylvania may require permits to sell or breed them. Some towns and landlords add their own limits.
Ask the seller for these. Documents on Everybarn are on file for your own checks; we don't check them with the issuer.
