The Honduran milk snake is one of the largest milk snakes, a Central American tricolor of red, black and yellow or cream bands. It is bred in many color forms, including tangerine, hypo and albino, and is known as a strong feeder.

What is a tangerine Honduran?
A line selected for orange where the yellow or cream bands would be. It is a line-bred look rather than a simple gene, so ask for parent photos.
Is it venomous like a coral snake?
No. Milk snakes are harmless and only look like coral snakes. Treat any wild banded snake with caution, but a captive-bred milk snake is not venomous.
What health records should I ask for?
Ask for a clear fecal and a negative crypto PCR, and a feeding log showing several meals on frozen-thawed pinkies or mice. A hatch record with the parents and clutch date confirms captive breeding.
