Extreme harlequin crested geckos carry cream or light pattern over most of the sides and legs, often with strong contrast against a dark or red base. It is the high end of the line-bred harlequin look and a favorite of breeders chasing pattern.

What makes a harlequin extreme?
Most breeders mean cream pattern covering well over half of the sides and legs. There is no fixed standard, so judge the gecko itself in fired-up photos.
Should I buy an adult or a juvenile?
Pattern and color settle as cresteds mature, so an older juvenile or adult shows what you are getting. Hatchlings are a bet on how they develop.
What should I check for health?
Straight hips and spine, a full tail base and a steady weight log. Ask if the original tail is intact, since cresteds never regrow it, and whether the colony has a clear fecal or crypto test.
