Hip dysplasia, degenerative myelopathy, PRA and back problems are the main concerns. Ask for OFA hips, a recent eye exam and DNA results for DM and rcd3-PRA on both parents.
How is a Cardigan different from a Pembroke?
Cardigans have a long tail, larger rounded ears and a heavier build, and come in more colors. Pembrokes are slightly smaller and usually have a docked or naturally short tail.
