Blotched gargoyle geckos carry bold, irregular patches of color over a lighter base instead of a fine net or clean stripes. It is one of the classic gargoyle looks and the base for the orange, red and white blotched lines.

Often, yes. Gargoyle color develops over the first year or two. Ask for photos of the parents as adults to see where the line is heading.
Can a gargoyle regrow its tail?
Yes, unlike a crested. The regrown tail usually looks different and lumpier than the original, which matters to some buyers.
What health records should I ask for?
A hatch date, a steady weight log and a clear fecal or crypto test on the colony. Ask whether the gecko has been housed with others and has any bite marks.
