Arctic
Hognose Snake · 0 live listings
Arctic is an incomplete-dominant hognose morph that gives a high-contrast look, with dark blotches on a pale, grayish ground. Two copies make a super arctic, a paler snake again, and arctic is often stacked with other genes.

The tradeoffs, honestly
Arctic hatchlings can resemble other morphs, so parent records matter. Care, lifespan and the mild rear-fanged venom match any hognose.
Common questions
What is a super arctic?
The form with two arctic genes. A super arctic bred to a normal gives all arctic babies; an arctic bred to a normal gives about half.
Can arctic be combined with other morphs?
Yes. Arctic is often paired with conda, albino and axanthic. Ask for the full genetic breakdown and parent photos for any combo.
What health records should come with it?
Ask for a clear fecal and a negative crypto PCR, plus a dated feeding log showing several meals on unscented frozen-thawed mice. A hatch record with the clutch date and both parents ties the snake to its genetics.
