The Andean milk snake is one of the largest milk snakes, a highland form from the Andes of Colombia with a heavy build and red, black and pale bands. It comes from cooler mountain country, so it needs cooler temperatures than lowland milk snakes.

Adults often reach 4 to 6 feet with a heavy build, so plan an adult enclosure of at least 4×2×2 ft.
What health records should I ask for?
Ask for a clear fecal and a negative crypto PCR, and a feeding log showing several meals on frozen-thawed pinkies or mice. A hatch record with the parents and clutch date confirms captive breeding.
