The detail

Jaguar is an incomplete-dominant carpet python mutation, first seen in coastal carpets, that brightens the colors and breaks up the pattern. It carries a known neurological wobble, and the super form, with two copies, is not viable.

Best fit
Experienced python keepers
Handling
3 out of 5 (Nippy young, calms with age)
Setup complexity
4 out of 5 (Tall, arboreal enclosure)
Feeding ease
4 out of 5 (Wobble can hit strikes)

What to weigh

Many jaguars show a head wobble, poor balance or corkscrewing, from mild to severe, and stress can make it worse. Jaguar to jaguar risks supers that do not survive.
