Buyer question

Is a Champagne good for beginners?

Usually not: our Animal Library rates the Champagne 2 out of 5 for beginners (better with experience).

The detail

Champagne is a diluted chocolate ferret: light tan guard hairs over a cream undercoat, usually with ruby or burgundy eyes. It is a color only, so an owner gets ordinary ferret care and the same time commitment.

Best fit
Experienced, home-a-lot owners
Handling
4 out of 5 (Playful, kits may nip)
Care load
4 out of 5 (Hours of daily play time)

What to weigh

A pale coat shows dirt and oil staining, but care is otherwise identical to any ferret, including long daily play and vet visits.
