How long does a Doodle live?

The detail
Doodles cross a Poodle with another breed, most often a Golden Retriever, Labrador or Bernese, to aim for a friendly family dog with a lower-shedding coat. They are not a recognized breed, so size, coat and temperament vary widely.

What to weigh
Coat type and shedding are never guaranteed, and the curly coats mat quickly without regular professional grooming. Doodles inherit the health risks of both parent breeds.
