The detail
Bred in England as a fighting dog and later refined into a gentleman's companion, the Bull Terrier is muscular, playful and famously clownish, with its unique egg-shaped head. It is affectionate but stubborn and needs firm, fun training.

What to weigh
Bull Terriers are strong, mouthy and can be dog-selective. Some develop compulsive behaviors such as tail-chasing, and they need company and activity to stay balanced.
