The detail
Lincolns are the largest British sheep, from Lincolnshire in England, and grow the longest, heaviest fleece of any breed. A heritage longwool now kept in small numbers, they suit fiber farms and spinners who value long, lustrous locks.

What to weigh
Lincolns are big, slow-maturing sheep that need good feed and strong facilities. Their very long fleeces take real skill to shear and skirt, and good breeding stock is limited.
