The detail
Oberhasli come from the Swiss Alps and are a medium dairy goat with a bay "chamoisee" coat and black markings. They give sweet milk, are calm and even-tempered, and are less common than other Swiss breeds.
- Fencing needs
- 3 out of 5 (Standard goat fencing)
What to weigh
Oberhasli are less common, so good stock can take longer to find. Polled lines carry the same intersex risk as other Swiss breeds.
