The detail
The extreme giant is a selectively bred line of Argentine black and white tegu, sold for large size and a calm temperament. It is not a separate species, and adult size depends on the individual, diet and care rather than the name.
- Housing
- 8×4×4 ft or larger, deep, damp substrate
What to weigh
Bred for size, so plan for the largest Argentine tegu you can house. Size is never guaranteed by the line name.
