The detail
A large, muscular, semi-longhaired cat from the Lake Van region, with color mostly on the head and tail. Vans are athletic, strong-willed and famously interested in water, and they prefer playing with you to being held.
What to weigh
A Turkish Van is powerful, energetic and not keen on being picked up. It needs daily hard play and sturdy furniture, and matures slowly.
