The detail
The Timor monitor is a small, tree-climbing monitor from Timor and nearby islands, with a dark body scattered with pale spots. It stays around two feet but is quick and nervous, so it suits keepers who like to watch more than handle.
- Housing
- Tall enclosure about 4×2×5 ft with climbing
What to weigh
A manageable size, but not a handling lizard. It needs vertical space and plenty of hides to feel secure.
