The detail

Tamworths come from England and are ginger-red pigs with long snouts. They are active foragers and a bacon-type breed, known for hardiness and good performance on pasture and in woods.

What to weigh

Tamworths are active and root heavily, so they need strong fencing and rotation. They grow slower than commercial breeds.
