The detail
Society, or Bengalese, finches are a fully domesticated finch developed in Asia from wild munias. They are peaceful and famously good foster parents, which makes them a gentle choice for mixed aviaries.

What to weigh
Society finches are not handling birds, and they are so social that a single bird suffers. Otherwise they are easy keepers.
