The detail
The Senegal parrot is a compact Poicephalus from West Africa, with a grey head and orange belly. It is quieter than most parrots and often bonds strongly to one person, which suits smaller homes.

- Medium cage, daily time out
What to weigh
Senegals can become one-person birds and nip others in the home. They live decades, and handling by everyone in the family early on helps.
