The detail
A slim, silver-blue shorthair traditionally traced to Arkhangelsk in northern Russia. Quiet, gentle and devoted to its own people, it is often shy with strangers and thrives on a calm, predictable routine.
What to weigh
A Russian Blue can be slow to trust new people and unsettled by change, noise or chaotic households. It loves food and gains weight easily if meals are not measured.
