The detail
Red Wattles are a large US heritage breed, red with fleshy wattles on the neck. They are hardy, good foragers and known for lean, flavorful meat, and are listed as a conservation breed.
What to weigh
Red Wattles are large and need strong fencing. They are rare, so finding unrelated breeding stock can be hard.
