The detail
The standard fancy mouse is the domestic house mouse with a short, smooth coat, bred in hundreds of colors and markings. It is small, quick and entertaining to watch, and it suits owners who want a lively cage more than a lap pet.
- Housing
- Tank or bin cage, deep bedding
What to weigh
Mice live about two years, move fast and are more for watching than cuddling. Bucks smell strongly and usually must live alone.
