The detail
A horse bred small, no taller than 34 or 38 inches depending on the registry, and kept for driving, showing and companionship. Minis are clever and people-friendly, but they are real horses with their own health risks.
- Build
- Small, proportioned horse
What to weigh
Minis get fat fast and are prone to dental crowding, hyperlipemia and colic. They cannot be ridden by adults, and they need horse company and horse-level care.
