The detail
Durocs were developed in the northeastern US in the 1800s and are known for their red coat and fast growth. They are prized for meat quality and marbling, and are a common sire breed in commercial pork.
What to weigh
Durocs grow fast and eat a lot. They are big and strong, so fences and gates need to be solid.
