The detail

A North American horse with a curly winter coat, crimped mane and curled ears. Curlies are calm, hardy and easygoing, and some people with horse allergies tolerate them better than other breeds.

What to weigh

Some Curlies shed mane and tail hair seasonally, and the look varies a lot between horses. Allergy tolerance is individual and never guaranteed.
