The detail
The coastal rosy boa comes from coastal Southern California and northern Baja California, and often has uneven or blotchy stripes in reddish or brown tones. It is as calm and slow as its desert relatives, with the same long life.
- Housing
- 3×1.5 ft, dry, escape-proof
What to weigh
Coastal lines vary a lot in color, so a young snake may not match its parents. Like all rosies it can live 30 years, escapes easily and may fast in winter.
